Calathea Rufibarba

Not all Calatheas are brightly patterned! This one is grown for its fabulous rippling foliage that brings movement and energy to your interior design. The narrow green leaves arch gently from upright stems, showing off their burgundy undersides which have the texture of soft velvet. Calathea rufibarba is an elegant tropical plant which will enjoy a warm, humid room such as a kitchen or bathroom. For a really exotic display, group it with some of its vibrant cousins for a memorable display in the conservatory. Height and spread: 60cm (24″).
