De-humidifying House Plant Collection comprises the following varieties:
- Asplenium nidus – An ideal choice for shadier rooms, north or east-facing windowsills or bathrooms, this tough fern is an undemanding houseplant. Asplenium nidus bears bright green, sword-like fronds with prominent black midribs. Fresh young fronds are continually produced from the basal rosette, replacing older leaves. Its clean outlines are elegantly simple. Maximum height: 1.5m (60in). Spread: 1m (40in).
- Epipremnum aureum – Commonly known as Devil’s Ivy, Epipremnum aureum is a fabulous leafy climber or trailing houseplant. The long stems are cloaked in luxuriant, glossy foliage patterned with irregular golden streaks. This vigorous house plant climbs using aerial roots to cling to its supports. It will swiftly scale a moss pole to create a lush, tropical-looking feature that takes up little floor space. Epipremnum is a tough plant that prefers a shaded spot and doesn’t mind if you forget to water it now and again! Height: 150cm (59″). Spread: 250cm (98″).
- Aloe vera – Aloe vera is an easy-to-grow house plant that needs the minimum of care. This slow-growing succulent has plump, grey-green, fleshy foliage with toothed edges that form a wide rosette over time. Makes a handsome plant for a bright, sunny position. Height and spread: 90cm (36″).
